Who Chooses a Private Event at a Working Ranch Near Spring Hill

Not every gathering needs a hotel ballroom or a rented hall in the middle of downtown. Some families and groups want room to breathe, a place where kids can run across a lawn and adults can sit under an oak tree instead of fluorescent lighting. This is who tends to find their way to Goldman Ranch. We sit on a working horse and cattle ranch in Hampshire, Tennessee, and weddings are our main focus, but we also open the property for private events and special occasions for people who want something quieter and more personal than a typical venue.

Families from Spring Hill and Columbia are often the first to reach out, since the ranch sits closer to those communities. Nashville area guests reach out too, ready to trade the city for open pasture for a day.

Finding Room to Gather at Goldman Ranch

A good private event depends on space that actually fits the group, and we thought about that early. Our indoor reception space seats up to 120 guests, set with custom-built wooden farmhouse tables and long reception tables with chairs included. It is a rustic room, but it stays flexible enough to work around whatever the gathering calls for.

Guests who want to step outside will find the ranch opens into rolling hills, open pastures, wooded areas, and ponds across roughly 300 acres, with mature oak trees scattered through the property that make natural gathering points on their own.

What Comes With Your Booking

Our amenities were built with real events in mind, not just photos. A bar stretches 35 feet, equipped with kegerators, a beverage center, and an ice machine, so drink service has room to move without a bottleneck. For food, a catering kitchen sits fully equipped for professional caterers, with the appliances and countertop space they need to prepare and serve a meal efficiently.

Outdoors, we keep lawn games, wedding arbors, outdoor tables, chairs, benches, and umbrellas on hand, along with open landscape that works well for cocktail hour or casual mingling. Guests will find modern bathroom facilities with showers inside, kept clean and maintained throughout the event.

Good to Know Before Your Visit

We are a working ranch, so a couple of practical notes matter. Cell service can be unreliable near the property, so we ask guests to enter their directions before they leave rather than count on a signal once they arrive.

Wheelchair accessible features include an entrance, parking, and a restroom, and free on-site parking is available for the day. An appointment is required to visit, so a call or a quick message ahead of time goes a long way.

Other Occasions We Host

Weddings remain our primary focus, and we host ceremonies and receptions across the same barn and grounds described here, both indoors and outdoors. Planning a wedding alongside or instead of a private event? We are glad to talk through both.

A hall downtown never quite fit what you had in mind? We would like to show you around. Call us, send an email, or ask about scheduling a private tour, and we will help you figure out if the ranch fits your group. Contact Goldman Ranch to check availability, ask about guest capacity, or schedule a private tour.
